The Earth is called Mother! Where a favourable – liveable climate called the greenhouse effect is controlled for the growth of microorganisms to giant species.
Earth is providing useful elements & resources for us like water, food, shelter, clothes, air, minerals, fuel, power, and wealth for our day-to-day life and business.
There are many articles, books, poems, songs, etc written and could be found on Earth. In Sanskrit, Earth is treated as a goddess, and many kingdoms & civilizations flourished & disappeared. Many wars were fought among the kingdoms to become the owner of the earth! The truth is nobody has become the owner of the Earth.
Earth is known as one of the elements among the five (panchamahabhutas) of the Universe. i.e. Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jala), Fire (Tejas), Wind (Yayu) and Space (Akasha).
We have forgotten & underestimated the importance of ‘The Earth’ while striving and focusing on industrialization and development for many decades. And resulted in the punishment i.e. Natural Calamities, Cyclones, Tsunamis, Earth Quakes, Heavy Rain & flood, Drought, and so on…..
Now Researches & Scientists are realizing and assessing the facts and talking & about the mitigation of Climate change, Global warming, rising sea levels, depletion of the ozone layer, deforestation, and pollution.
Our chairman Hon Dr. Bhavalalji Jain use to say, ‘Leave this planet better than you found it’.
If we take of care & protect the earth today, the earth will take care of tomorrow for us & next Generations … to enjoy the glory of the earth!
